It is important to note that this Union Local belongs to its' members. We elect our own leaders from within our membership, so our Representatives understand our trade and the issues that matter to us because they have done the front line work. As a Union member, you will have the protection of a union contract with basic rights, including:

  • The ability to speak out for yourself and other workers on work-related issues.

We have collective bargaining agreements with employers. Our representatives are committed to providing a better way of life for our members, including:

  • Normal working hours, shift work, travel pay, overtime, and many more.

Union Meetings

General meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at 6 pm. There are no meetings held in June, July, August, and December.
